More than 5,000 people visited the 40 FineArt Igualada 2024 exhibitions

The 12th edition of this photography festival, which was held from February 23 to March 17 in the capital, Anoia, concluded with a record number of visitors. The fact is that more than 5,000 people have visited the 40 exhibitions spread in different parts of the city proposed by FineArt this year.

Regarding the place of origin of these visitors, the audience from outside Igualada has been gaining strength in recent years and this year they represent about 60% of the total number of visitors. People who visit FineArt come mainly from all over Catalonia but also from other regions of the Spanish state such as Andalusia, Galicia, Valencian Country, Aragon or Madrid, and even from abroad such as France and Germany.

Of the 15 fine art exhibition spaces this year, the most visited venues were the Igualada Leather Museum, the Municipal Exhibition Hall, the tannery, and the slaughterhouse. As for the most visited exhibitions in this twelfth edition of FineArt, the most notable are “Creadores de consciencia”, “Més állá” by Robert Ramos, “The Melting Age” by Alphonse Rodríguez, and the exhibition “Trapped?” Equally Maria Gregory.

FineArt is an event organized by the Igualada City Council and the Photographic Association, famous in Catalonia and a national leader in the sector.
