While only three NBA Developmental League games took place on Sunday night, there was certainly a lot to look out for.

Nando De Colo and Aron Bynes made their D-League season debuts after the assignment from the San Antonio Spurs to the Austin Toros. De Colo, 26, appeared in six games for the Spurs, getting just over 9 minutes per game, while averaging 2.7 points 1.7 assists. Bynes, also 26, managed to get into 10 games for San Antonio, averaging 1.5 points and 2.2 rebounds in over 8 minutes per contest.

On Sunday night, De Colo dropped 29 points, dishing out 8 assists and adding 6 steals while Bynes recorded a double-double, scoring 24 points and grabbing down 10 rebounds. The duo helped the Toros pick up their first victory of the season, defeating the Delaware 87ers 114-102.

Coming off an injured foot, Jeremy Tyler made his return to the D-League and his debut with the Erie BayHawks. He appeared rusty, scoring 9 points on 4-of-10 shooting in 29 minutes of play, while turning the ball over 5 times. The BayHawks remain winless at 0-3.

It is possible that Tyler, 22, will be reassigned to the New York Knicks in the near future. They are in need of a capable big-man after former Defensive Player of the Year Tyson Chandler went down with a broken fibula.

Malcolm Thomas has been called up by the Spurs. Thomas, 25, got off to a strong start in his first two games with the Los Angeles D-Fenders, averaging 33.5 points and 15.5 rebounds. The 6-9 small forward has bounced around both the NBA and D-League, spending time with the Golden State Warriors and Chicago Bulls while also playing with the Austin Toros, Rio Grande Valley Vipers and Santa Cruz Warriors.
