Last night in the NBA Playoffs: Kevin Durant Thunders Up

Indiana Pacers vs. Washington Wizards

I heard some rumors and anecdotal reports that there was an NBA Playoff game in Washington last night, but I haven’t been able to get that confirmed by anyone.

I mean, this looks pretty cool and would lend credence to there being an actual Playoff game.

But I don’t know, because Andrew Sharp from Grantland tweeted this, and he’s a Wizards fan and knows a lot about basketball, and this does not sound like a playoff game.

And then like, I think someone even died or something???

I don’t know, it seems really weird. Probably best if we just move on.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Okay, now this? This was a playoff game. And it was awesome.

Kevin Durant dropped 36/8/6, Blake Griffin had 34/8/4, Chris Paul had 21/2/16, and the game went down to the final minutes before the Thunder sneaked out of Staples Center with a 118-112 victory. Of course, there were plenty of amazing things going on.

First, #LetWestbrookBeWestbrook showed up wearing these pants.

And then we have #LetWestbrookBeWestbrook doing this.

And here’s the .gif, coming from behind the basket.

#LetWestbrookBeWestbrook was far from done, though throwing down this baseline dunk as well.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot we had a ref doing a travel dance.

Oh, hi Blake. Nice of you to join us.

And also Chris Paul hit this shot, which, like, okay Chris, we know you’re the one and only Point God, you don’t need to rub it in.

Awww, poor Jared Dudley. Good job, good effort big fella.

Anyways, thanks to this game for bringing some excitement back to the playoffs after a lackluster start to the second round. Oh, and before you go, make sure you check out this sick Phantom Cam video of some of the best highlights from last night.
