The New Orleans Pelicans just closed out a tough win over the Boston Celtics, by a score of 95-92.
They had to do it without Ryan Anderson, however, after he was taken off the court on a stretcher following a collision with Gerald Wallace early in the 4th quarter.
With the Pelicans inbounding under their own basket, Anderson cut to the right, right into the path of Wallace, who was chasing Darius Miller as he cut towards the baseline.
According to reports, Anderson was taken to a local hospital, and is being treated for a cervical stinger. He will stay in the hospital overnight.

This has been a brutal few months for Anderson, who had to deal with the death of his girlfriend before the season and also missed the first nine games of the year while recovering from an injury.
Hopefully he is able to bounce back quickly and keep his strong season on track.
