NBA Game Rankings: 12/12/10

We were really worried about the Miami Heat a while back. But now? Not so much, as the Heat won their eight in a row last night by beating the Kings, 104-83. Perhaps we should open up that “best record ever” discussion once again. OK, so let’s not get that excited just yet, but it’s obvious that this team has started to find their groove. There probably isn’t anyone happier about that than head coach Erik Spoelstra either. That’s for sure.

Here’s a look at today’s action around the league:

In games that already went final

New York Knicks 129, Denver Nuggets 125
San Antonio Spurs 95, Portland Trail Blazers 78
Los Angeles Lakers 99, New Jersey Nets 92
Philadelphia 76ers 88, New Orleans Hornets 70

#2: Cleveland Cavaliers (7-16) at Oklahoma City Thunder (16-8) – 7:00 PM ET, Regional

#1: Orlando Magic (15-8) at Los Angeles Clippers (5-19) – 9:30 PM ET, Regional

Can the Clippers extend the Magic’s losing streak to five tonight?
