Saint Martin
The celebration of San Martino returns with sweets, games and markets: during the weekend, the windows of pastry shops and the best bakeries in the area will display San Martino’s colorful sweets. There are many events in the Province of Venice, with demonstrations, celebrations and initiatives for children (details), in Sottomarina with markets and promenades (details) and in Pianega with food stalls and live music (details).
Adel and Zogo De Luca
On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 November 2023, the now traditional date with the Fiera de l’oca and Zogo de l’oca in the square returns to Merano. For two days the historic center of the city will return to the beginning of the last century, in an atmosphere recreated to the last detail of the old village festivals, with stalls, street performances and entertainment of all kinds for adults and children (details).
Radicchio Festival
The 41st edition of the Radicchio Festival kicks off at the Rio San Martino di Scorzè and will take place from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 November in the large Palaradicchio in the center of the city. Sunday 12 November, 11.00 am, Rio meets Italy Motors: Lamborghini show on the occasion of the 60th and 30th anniversary of the Italian Lamborghini Club (details).
Back to the wine
Running from November 12-13, the sixth edition of “Back To The Wine” is a two-day event dedicated to artisanal and specialty wines from all over Italy and beyond. This year the event will take place in Venice, more specifically in Building 103 of the Naval Station, and through 130 stages, it will take visitors to discover the artisanal wines of our country, but not only (details).
Massimo Popolizio in Toniolo
After the triumphant start with the show Mumex, the Italian actor Massimo Popolizio has been entrusted with the launch of the new prose season of the Toniolo Teatro: from 7 to 12 November, Arthur Miller’s play “A View from the Bridge” will be presented on the stage and is always directed by Popolizio (details).
Searching for Lumiere
On Saturday 11 November, in the Noventa di Piave at 6.00 p.m., the floodplain area of the Piave River will become the scene of the “Hunting for Lumiere” event: a meeting that will commemorate the importance of the element of fire in the evolution of the history of the human being of yesterday and today achieved by the combination of knowledge and ritual (details).
Meeting with Jean-Pierre Lumenier
Saturday 11, at 6.00 pm at the Phys Civic Library, an appointment with the French astrophysicist, novelist and poet Jean-Pierre Lumenier, who will present the book “Unusual and Extraordinary Stories of Astronomers”. The author was the first in the world to “photograph” a black hole, and is director of research at CNRS, the French public research organization (details).
Show “Sleeping Beauty”
Sunday 12 November, at 4.30pm, the second date of “Domenica da Favola” of the “A pesca di dream” season at the Teatrino Groggia. “Sleeping Beauty” will be told through photographs, video projections, drawings and animation (details).
Show “Hamlin”
On Sunday 12 November at 3.00 pm in Not Just for Children, the section dedicated to the smallest Candiani Center of the Culture Sector of the Municipality of Venice, the theatrical performance “Hamelin” by the Trans Adriatic Factory company with the Fondazione Sipario Toscana will be organised. Exhibition about Emilio Vedova
The exhibition continues until January 7 The widow’s revolutionhosted in the spaces of M9 – Museo del ‘900: will be shown, among other things, some essential works of the Venetian painter characterized by a strong connection to the dramatic events of his time (details).
Exhibition on Chagall
Exhibition Chagall. The color of dreams It is open in the exhibition halls on the second floor of the Candiani Hotel and will be open to visitors until February 13, 2024. The exhibition is designed using the masterpieces preserved at Ca’ Pesaro, accompanied in each section by important and recent works by Chagall from the prestigious artists’ international collections (details).
An exhibition about Titian’s artistic debut
Until December 3, 2023, the Galerie dell’Accademia will host the exhibition “Titian 1508. At the Beginning of an Illuminated Walk”, which tells the story of the artist’s birth through seventeen signature works by Titian and around ten comparisons with paintings, engravings and drawings. By contemporary composers such as Giorgione, Sebastiano del Piombo, Albrecht Dürer and Francesco Vecellio (details).
