Moscow, Russia | Russia on Friday set a new record for daily deaths from Govt-19, vaccine sluggishness and a lack of control measures despite a wave of delta variability since June.

In the last 24 hours, 828 people have died from the new corona virus, according to the Russian government’s Crisis Center. The previous record of 820 deaths on September 23 and August 26, 2021 was reached twice.
Russia is the most affected country in Europe.
A total of 202,273 people have died from Kovit-19 since the outbreak, according to the government-defined definition of death from Kovit-19. The Russian statistics agency Rosstad, which has a broad definition, announced that by the end of July 2021 more than 350,000 people had died.
Since June, Russia has been severely affected by the delta virus, which is known to be highly contagious and has not been able to stop its progress. The number of new cases reached 21,379 on Friday.
