Manager Xavier Jacobelli commented on TMW Radio on the Italian Cup final result for Juventus.
Comment on the match:
“I think the Coppa Italia celebrated its centenary in the best possible way with a beautiful match. Inter won their second Cup of the season and their eighth Coppa Italia. Juventus is still dry after so many years. Today the wonderful Inter had the merit of always believing in them. In my opinion there was a mistake. Big on Allegri’s part, removing Dybala robbed the Bianconeri’s imagination and left them in doubt as to how it would end up with the Argentine on the pitch, believing that this was one of the few important games that Dybala played.”
What do you think of the two episodes discussed?
“Honestly, I think there were both parts. Reviewing both episodes at VAR as well, they seem like two kicks worth winning. Inter had the merit of believing in them and winning them.”
Does this victory give Cagliari a big boost?
“Of course yes. An amazing year of inzaghi in my opinion. He won the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup and after so many years took the Nerazzurri back to the second round of the Champions League. He collected Conte’s legacy, without Hakimi and Lukaku, and thus without a fulcrum last year.”
