China’s first trading partner – Overall, 86.9% of Russian trade is based on countries that were not part of the former Soviet Union. China is Moscow’s main trading partner, with an exchange value of $112.4 billion. Also on the platform are Germany (46.1 billion) and the Netherlands (37 billion).
Italy is the 17th among Moscow’s business partners – The United States is in fourth place with 28.8 billion, and Italy is in seventh place with 23.7 billion, and is also preceded by Turkey (25.7 billion) and South Korea (24.4 billion). The remaining 13% of trade goes to the CIS countries, mainly Belarus (13.4 billion) and Kazakhstan (11.4 billion).
