The Amarcord Project: Art and Science of Remembering and Socializing, appointment at Villa Trossi-Uberti

Monday 27 November at 10.30am In the Trucy Oberti Arts Foundation, Via Pastrengo 21 In Livorno, the project’s return event is being held AMARCORD: The art and science of remembering and socializing Aim at – aim at Supporting Alzheimer’s patientsFor people with cognitive and sensory disorders and their family caregivers, supported by the Livorno Foundation.

It will also be a precious opportunity to showcase the continuation of the project in 2024 thanks once again to the generous support of the Livorno Foundation.

The two regional projects are led by the associations AIMA Costa Etrusca – the Italian Alzheimer’s Association (for the period 2022-2023) and AMAL – the Livorno Alzheimer’s Association (for the period 2023-2024).

A large partnership has been formed around the AMARCORD project which includes not only associations, companies and individuals from the world of social care and social volunteering, but also cultural entities from Livorno and the province pursuing the same social mission as the promotional entities. In fact, it is now widely proven that culture in all its aspects has powerful therapeutic value for patients and their families.

In addition to the two associations specifically targeting people with Alzheimer’s disease, the partners contributing to the realization of the project are: AUSER volunteer, Filo d’Argento Rosignano Marittimo, InAssociazione Aps, Museum of Natural History of the Mediterranean in the Province of Livorno, and Palazzo Bombardieri Archaeological Museum of the Municipality of Rosignano Marittimo, the Trossi-Uberti Arts Foundation, the projects of the social enterprise Itinera and the research cooperative community, the Casa Cardinale Maffi Foundation, the G. di Vittorio Social Cooperative, and the NIP – Neuropsychology in Square Applications. The network also benefits from the collaboration of other subjects and professionals in relation to the cultural, therapeutic and cultural world.
