The purpose of the initiative is to propose new joint projects related to the presence and activity of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and the title of the meeting is “New Horizons and Challenges for Future Science and Technology. Women of Science in Dialogue.” The appointment is on Saturday, June 3, in the meeting room of the Museum of Trento with the final meeting of a two-year project carried out by FIDABA (Rome Division), which witnesses the direct participation of the Regional Commission for Equal Opportunities, entitled: “I (Wednesday) say about science and technology”.
The track saw the organization of a series of webinars designed in an informational format, targeting members, friends, young women and students involved in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Excellent researchers illustrated their research work, talked about their experience, passion for their research, and not neglecting the difficulties they faced.
Opening in Rome in February 2022 with a round table to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the project was inaugurated by FIDABA member of the Trento department, Lucia Martinelli, Senior Researcher at Muse and Head of the European Platform for Women Scientists. Edited by Fidapa members of the Rome Section, Giuseppina Del Signore and Patrizia Galeffi, Enea Researchers. In Muse, then, the conclusion of the trip that saw the convincing support and collaboration of the CPO headed by Paola Maria Taufer, and the meeting of the Fidapa-BPW Italy divisions in Rome and Trento.
