Obviously we are talking about the iconic Nokia 3310, one of the most successful mobile phones in history, with a figure equal to 126 million units sold, until its withdrawal from the market in 2005. In short, a record, not even an iPhone in the same time frame managed from the match.

It certainly distinguished itself from other mobile phones of the time: a sharp and round shape, the absence of an external antenna, a well-balanced ratio of size and weight. Soon, the new versions of the Nokia 3310 were equipped with 1,000 mAh lithium-ion batteries, which gave the phone ultra-high autonomy from 55 to 260 hours on standby and from 2 hours 30 minutes to 4 hours and 30 minutes a call (talking time).

This phone was so iconic that it was “reviewed” by the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2015, which chose the Nokia 3310 as its “national emoji” to represent the strengths of the country and its people, commenting: “Indestructible phone. The legendary Nokia 3310 is one of the best selling mobile phones of all time. The phone was built in Finland and is known for its toughness“.

Today, the Nokia 3310, for starters, is back on the market. In anthracite gray, which has been very popular with generations of GSM mobile phone users, it is available on eBay at a price of €299.99.
