Next Thursday, the Northern Civic Center will host the play “Silence.Ada,” which focuses on silent diseases that affect women, such as endometriosis or fibroids.

This Thursday, June 6 at 7:00 p.m., the North Civic Center Hall will host the action “Silence.Ada” as part of the World Day of Action for Women’s Health promoted by the Ministry of Health and Public Health of the Igualada City Council. The show aims to reflect the close connection between women based on the compartmentalization of their experiences, concerns, and passions.

The play delves into the fact that women have been given the role of caregivers by nature, and even in health are left in the background for men with silent diseases like endometriosis, fibromyalgia and cardiovascular disease.

The piece features 6 different women as protagonists, whose stories are intertwined by a circular plot. They are all of different ages and generations and have one thing in common; Silent diseases.

The word, rhythm and different characters accompanying the heroes will be the key to understanding the story. The actresses will play a constant division of characters to be able to give different volumes to the story.

The show, although fictional, is based on interviews, experiences and real witnesses who wanted to tell their story, and is supervised by medical professionals who collaborated on the project.

After the play ends, there will be a discussion with the company to discuss the content and experiences presented in the plot.
