At the Monfalcone Science and Data Festival

“When dealing with the topic of artificial intelligence, we are not talking about the future, but about the present. The digital world includes a huge amount of data that can be valuable for the future, especially given new policies for the development of the territory. In this context, there is an increasing need “For the contribution of experts in this sector. I congratulate Buonarroti High School in Monfalcone for launching the new course dedicated to Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, with the hope that these will be job opportunities for young people.”

With these words, the Regional Consultant for Information Systems Sebastiano Callari brought today to Monfalcone the corporate greeting for the first edition of Sdia Fest, the Festival of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The event is organized by the State Higher Education Institute Michelangelo Buonarroti in Monfalcone, leader of the national network of secondary schools specializing in data science and artificial intelligence.

The day was organized in the morning with a rich program of meetings with university professors and digital experts at the Municipal Theater. The afternoon was instead dedicated to innovation labs at two locations of Buonarroti High School, with students from other schools hosted by the event participating.

Among other authorities who attended the opening of the festival, Mayor of Monfalcone Ana Maria Cescent highlighted the passion and expertise that students and teachers put into a project with a strong creative spirit.
