The “Cruïlla Baix Segre”, organized by the Cruïlla Festival itself and Generitat, with the support of the provincial government, presented its program yesterday, which proposes 12 hours of music in nine demarcating municipalities. The activity will start at 11.30 with a performance by Julia Colomb in Cyrus and Rinaldo and Clara, who will perform in Torres de Segre. At 1:15 p.m., Aitona will follow with Clara Pia; Joan Garriga and Galactic Mariatxi, who will be at the Granja d'Escarp, and Mercabanda in Soses, where there will be a popular lunch. In the afternoon, starting at 16:00, David Carabén will perform in Alcarràs, and Delafé will perform in Massalcoreig. The highlight of the event will be at 18.00 with the concert by Stay Homas and Albert Pla with “The Surprise Band” in Aituna, to close the day. Throughout the day, the so-called “Espai Village” will be activated, in Alcarràs, which will act as an information point, and where Selva Nua will also perform (2:30 p.m.), as well as UK Ventura, Ponent Roots and Carlitos Minyaro, throughout the day. Beyond the music bill, the organization aims to combine the colorful landscape of flowering fields of Paraguayan peaches, nectarines and fruit trees, and gastronomy, in a project that Gerard Burpe, director of Cruïlla Baix Segre, describes as “new”. Rosa Pujol, Mayor of Itauna, highlighted the festival's commitment to Pex Segre. “We should be proud.”
