After weeks away due to numerous injuries, Steve Nash made his return a few nights ago. His first game was on Tuesday against the Timberwolves, and then, after a game off, he played again last night in the Lakers matchup against the Sixers.
It was his 40th birthday last night, but Nash showed he can still play, scoring 19 points, grabbing 4 rebounds and handing out 5 assists in 28 minutes. Plus, he embarrassed the much younger Evan Turner.
Late in the 2nd quarter, Nash crossed over behind his back, sending Turner the wrong way and giving Nash an open lane to the basket. Even a broken leg couldn’t stop Nick Young from celebrating Nash’s nashty (#nailedit) move.
