Well that game certainly lived up to the hype. The Knicks-Celtics game last night in Madison Square Garden had an old school-like feel to it, and even though it may have not been considered a true rivalry in recent years, if they play more games like that, it most definitely will be. The Celtics once again found a way to make the big play in crunch time, with Paul Pierce knocking down the jumper to win it. It was yet another impressive showing from Amare Stoudemire (and the rest of the Knicks, for that matter), but it was just a case of Pierce making a tough shot in the clutch to give the Celtics the victory.
Here’s a look at tonight’s schedule:
#3: Washington Wizards (6-17) at New Jersey Nets (6-19) – 7:00 PM ET, Regional
#2: San Antonio Spurs (21-3) at Denver Nuggets (15-9) – 10:30 PM ET, TNT
#1: Atlanta Hawks (16-10) at Boston Celtics (20-4) – 8:00 PM ET, TNT
After the big win for the Celtics at MSG, can the Hawks catch them in a letdown and pick up the win?
