Jimmy Spithill led the US SailGP team to their first-ever victory, winning in light wind at the Range Rover France Sail Grand Prix in Saint-Tropez. In the final, he beat Team New Zealand led by Peter Borling who was chasing a third straight win and Great Britain’s Ben Ainsley.
