Bad news for Donald Trump ahead of his possible re-nomination for the White House in 2024. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was the Republican favorite for the second year in a row in an unofficial poll, at the Western Conservative Summit in Colorado: 71.01% versus 67-68% of the billionaire. Others at a distance: Ted Cruz (28.73%) and Ben Carson (24.15%) – Also last year DeSantis beat Trump in the same poll, where voters are allowed to express more than one preference: 74% to 71%.
To trigger the billionaire businessman another referendum on Yahoo, according to which, in a possible retaliation for the White House, 42% of adults and registered voters will vote for Joe Biden and 39% for Trump, while 19% said they are not sure. These numbers are also comforting to the Progressive Party given the midterm: 38% of adults would vote for the Democratic candidate in the area they live in, versus 36% who would support the Republican Party (15% uncertain).
