The U.S. military on Friday announced that it had launched a drone strike on the Islamic State “organizer” in Khorasan (IS-K), which was responsible for the deadly attack on Kabul airport.

The U.S. embassy in Kabul on Friday warned U.S. citizens to “immediately” leave the airport.
