SOMEC: Two important things for the US professional division

San Vindemiano (Treviso)– Somec SpA (Euronext Milan: SOM), specializing in the design, production and installation of complex prefabricated works in the civil and marine sectors, announces two significant orders in the United States secured by its “Professions: Design and Construction of Custom Interiors” division (“Professions”). The value of the agreements amounts to more than 16 million euros.

The first contract, to which TSI – Total Solutions Interiors has been allocated, concerns the new cruise terminal in Miami, the most important in the city, which has been designed according to the highest standards of sustainability and innovation and is currently under construction. TSI, which acts as a single partner in the design, construction and installation of custom interiors for cruise ships and yachts around the world, is called upon in this case to bring its skills to the Onshore project and create a series of complex joinery and custom coverings with high acoustic performance, which… Expected to be delivered by the second half of 2024.

The second contract concerns the construction and installation of three staircases dedicated to an exclusive store of a famous French high-end fashion brand, located in the center of New York, in Manhattan, between Madison and Fifth Avenue. Designated for US subsidiary Mestieri USA, which was established in April 2022 to expand its high-end interior design business overseas, the order will see the company working in full synergy with Mestieri Srl, which will in turn coordinate with sister companies Lamparredo, Gino Ceolin and Budri. . The staircases covered by the order, one massive covered in marble and the other of special complexity with a combination of metal, glass and marble, will have a metal structure and will be installed by November 2024.
