An American man was arrested with the bodies of two young children in the trunk of his car, police said Friday in Baltimore, in the eastern United States, who made the horrific discovery during a routine traffic stop.
Nicole Johnson, 33, of Port City, has been charged with “misconduct leading to death” of her daughter-in-law and son-in-law, a seven-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy. The police said in a statement.
According to the newspaper Baltimore Sun., She put her daughter-in-law’s body in her trunk in May 2020, stuffed it in a suitcase and used her vehicle normally. A year later, this time she put the boy’s body in a plastic bag.
On Wednesday evening, police arrested her for speeding and for not having proper papers. To the agent who told her her car was being confiscated, she replied: “I do not care, I will not be here in five days”, “I’m going to make my debut on the first page.!”
Both children were handed over in 2019 by his sister. During her interrogation, she confirmed that her daughter-in-law had died as a result of being hit in the head, but she did not give an explanation to her son-in-law, the newspaper said.
