“Leonardo 4 Babies 2023”: charity concert “Serenades For Strings” at the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan

As part of the “Leonardo 4 Babies 2023” edition, on March 25, 2023 at 18:30 at the “Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology” in Milan – in the beautiful Sala delle Colonne – a charity concert of classical music organized by The Setticlavio aps and by the Carano 4 Children Foundation.
The UKOM Orchestra, made up of young musicians and conducted by conductor Carlo Tafuri, will perform in the program Serenades for strings by Dvorak and Tchaikovsky.
The young musicians in the orchestra are all pupils of the Suzuki School in Varese, for whom this is a very ambitious program in honor of the 20th anniversary of the ImmaginArte Association.

The charitable initiative launched in Milan at the end of 2018 will take place for the fourth time in the city where it was launched and for the third time in the “Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology”.
Since peace and the protection of young people in need are two main themes of the initiative, and given the tragic consequences of the conflict in Ukraine, all proceeds from concert tickets will be donated to charitable projects for Ukrainian children and youth in cooperation with UNICEF.
The event will be presented by well-known journalist Marco Francoso and will be attended by representatives of the European Commission, the Lombardy Region and the UNICEF Milan Committee.
The non-profit initiative “Leonardo 4 Children 2023: Climate, Equality and Peace” aims to develop the artistic and scientific talents of children and young people across Europe in addressing issues of peace, equality and climate, and with the aim of helping those in need. Children and young people through art and science, in order to create a bond of solidarity among young people around these globally relevant issues, which are never more important these days.
The initiative was launched in 2019, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, by the non-profit foundation “Carano 4 Children” in collaboration with several partners.
The initiative continued in the period 2020-2022 and witnessed the participation of nearly 2,000 children and young people from 16 countries (European and non-European) and the organization of many events, including 13 concerts and events starring young musical talents that witnessed participation. to more than 4,500 people.
