From 30/10 an additional 1,200 square meters can be visited at Warehouse 26

(ANSA) – Trieste, October 25 – An interactive display area to explain innovation to children and bring them closer to scientific careers, created by the Science District Park.

Unpublished exhibits dedicated to biology – with an emphasis on the cell – and to personality psychologist, cognitive process scientist Gaetano Canesa. And again, new space and new improvements to the museum’s “historic” collection. The Imaginario Scientific Center for Science, an interactive and experimental science museum that aims to promote and disseminate scientific and technological culture, is expanding in Trieste. An additional 1,200 square meters on the second floor of Warehouse 26 in Porto-Vecchio will be open to the public from Sunday 30 October.

In addition to the exhibits (practical stations created to be observed, touched and handled by the visitor), this was explained during the meeting, and the new area will also host laboratories equipped for educational, environmental, biological and chemical activities. The “historical” collection includes exhibits dedicated, for example, to the physics of sound and to the physics of light.

The spaces were made available at the end of the works carried out by the municipality of Trieste, and also through a loan from the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region.
