The U.S. Department of Defense has confirmed options for an additional 36 TH-73A helicopters. A note reads, “Leonardo welcomes the announcement by the U.S. Department of Defense that part of the plan to build a new advanced training system for the U.S. Navy, of which AugustaWestland is responsible for Philadelphia, will include 36 TH-73A helicopters and related spare parts, valued at $ 159.4 million.”
