Controversial politician and TV presenter Nigel Farage dealt a blow to the election campaign in the United Kingdom yesterday, and announced that he will run in the general elections next July 4 with the right-wing populist British Reform Party, which he founded himself in 2018. The most prominent figures supporting Britain’s exit from the European Union also confirmed , that he will lead the formation during the next five years, with the aim of winning the elections in 2029. Farage corrected the decision he made just a week ago, when he ruled out his candidacy and added another problem for the Conservative Party, which is still far behind the Labor Party in the opinion polls.
