Fabio Beach, chef and owner of Cibrèo restaurant in Florence, died Friday at the age of 68. His restaurant, which opened in 1979 in the neighborhood of Sant’Ambrogio, is considered an institution in Florence and so he also described it as Michelin Guide. In addition to the restaurant, Picchi has over the years opened other well-known businesses in town, including a trattoria, theater club (Teatro del Sale), a Tuscan cooking school and finally CiBio, a grocery store within St. Ambrogio Market.
