BCN was able to reopen only 12 out of 104 empty market spaces


Barcelona City Council’s latest challenge to plug gaps in the city’s markets has been solved with another punch. Between April and May, the Municipal Market Institute auctioned off all available vacancies in the capital. 104 premises were established, including 63 sales booths and 41 warehouses.
