Two die in nursing home in Arkansas – A hurricane has killed at least two people at an Arkansas nursing home. Five more were seriously injured and several sustained minor injuries. The Monette Manor Nursing Home can accommodate at least 86 patients. Within the facility, about 20 people are still trapped.
Amazon barn collapses in Illinois: Trapped people – Another hurricane hit Illinois, causing the roof of the Amazon warehouse in Edwardsville to collapse. At least 100 employees were trapped inside and are currently working night shifts, but they will all be safe in one area of the building’s basement. The same staff sent photos through social media to reassure relatives.
Hurricanes also devastated Tennessee and Kentucky. Several buildings collapsed on Mayfield in Kentucky. No deaths have been officially reported, but various people are still trapped inside the candle factory.
