Eurovita passes under Paneza’s direction

What’s new in eurolife. As reported by IVASS, the guarantor authority of the market, the current Extraordinary Commissioner Alessandro Santulequido has resigned.

On March 30, 2023, with no. 75798/23, Ivas appointed Alessandro Santolequido as Commissioner for the Extraordinary Management of Eurovita SpA and Eurovita Holding SpA, Antonio Blandini, Sandro Panizza and Monica Beccari as members of the relevant supervisory committees whose chairmanship was assigned to Antonio Blandini.

After acknowledging the resignation from the Santoli Liquido Office, IVASS issued a new requirement no. 0190088/23 (08/08/2023) with which it appointed Sandro Panizza as Commissioner for the Extraordinary Management of Eurovita SpA and Eurovita Holding SpA and Cristiano Del Torre as a member of the relevant supervisory committees, replacing Panizza himself.

Santoliquido’s resignation is dictated by the fact that, according to some market rumors, the manager will be appointed as general manager of Cronos, the new company created by the alliance of Allianz, Generali, Intesa Sanpaolo Vita, Poste Vita and Unipol to take over Eurovita’s policies.

Panizza, former Head of Insurance and Investments of Assicurazioni Generali, has a long experience in the world of insurance having covered many roles, including managing major risks at Intesa SA, President and Managing Director of Fondi Alleanza SpA, Managing Director and CEO of Alleanza Assicurazioni and then a company Generali Italia SpA.
