NBA Oregon Trail: Lottery Edition with Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker, Joel Embiid, Dante Exum, and Julius Randle

Draft Oregon Trail Jabari Lost

Welcome back to NBA Oregon Trail. In honor of the Draft Lottery, we decided to send some of this year’s top draft prospects on the Trail to see how they would handle it.

With Andrew Wiggins, Joel Embiid, Jabari Parker, Dante Exum, and Julius Randle on board, it was time to set off to figure out who was strong enough for the NBA. They started off poorly,

The guys did a poor job selling themselves in interviews, and struggled to find trade partners.

Embiid’s medical issues would then become a serious problem.

He wouldn’t last much longer, failing to meet the demands of the trail.

Even without Embiid, they struggled to stay on track.

Julius Randle was the next to have medical issues.

It only got worse for Julius.

Wiggins has clearly been working on his shooting from distance.

Randle would eventually bow out.

Exum would start to struggle to adjust to America.

Exum would drop, leaving just Wiggins and Parker.

Jabari would go on a run of terrible luck catching typhoid.

Parker had difficulty adjusting to the pace of the game.

Disaster then struck the Wiggins/Parker wagon.

Talent alone would not be enough on the trail, and they were in desperate need of veteran leadership.

Jabari’s health became a huge concern, first with a broken arm.

And then with cholera.

Despite numerous maladies and near calamities, Wiggins and Parker made it. Proving that they truly are the two top prospects (in traveling across the country in a virtual wagon)
