The Miami Heat lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder. LeBron James was outplayed by this season’s MVP-to-be Kevin Durant. But hey, at least the King owned the night’s most impressive pass.
As he had all five Thunder defenders focused on him, he dished the ball out from under the basket and behind-the-back of two-time All-Defense First-Team member Serge Ibaka to find Shane Battier for an open three-pointer, that he regrettably passed up.
That was one of the few highlights from Miami on Wednesday night. The Thunder overcame a 22-4 first quarter deficit to roar back and dominate the Heat 112-95. Despite James’ 34 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists, Durant dropped 33 points, grabbed 7 boards and dished out 5 assists.
