I have a lot of hesitation in the industry now, but I find that there are also good things. It used to be more complicated for people to access an artist’s work. Now access is instant, unlimited and free. That’s a good thing, but it also makes it possible for us to have a way fast food To consume music. Today you put out a record, tomorrow it’s dead. I am happy with life because it is as it should be. It would not make sense for my son to listen only to the music I listen to. He listens to it too, but also to his whole generation. I also listen to his generation, although I am more selective. There are very good things. The fundamental difference between me and my son is more in form than in content. He clearly lacks experience. He has completely different artistic resources, which are not only musical, but more global: he has a camera – because he graduated in film directing – and a computer, and a lot of things.
