The Isonzo Festival for Youth Under 18 returns to invade the Monfalcone Center with a three-day event in which, according to tradition, the students are the protagonists, interacting with teachers, doing science and explaining it to peers and adults.
Mayor Ana Maria Cesente opened the dance with Education Councilor Tiziana Maiorito and Head of Sciences under 18 Association Isontina Giuliana Candussio. Mayor Cisint notes that “Science under 18 is an important way to share a path with young people and bring them closer to science,” as well as “to convey the message that the world of institutions and the private world—that is what they want to encounter once they leave school—are now playing the same game, which is the game of growth.” and understanding the needs of the working world.”
25 schools will be present between Piazza della Repubblica, Palazzetto Veneto and Teatro Comunale, from childhood to high school, of which 4 are in Trieste and 2 are in Cervignano, with approximately 90 classes that will juggle workshops, activities and performances.

In addition to the institutions, the inauguration witnessed the presence of some “certificates”, winners of national and international scientific contests and competitions: from BEM “G. Marconi “from Staranzano, with the winners of the national competition” Move your ideas”, with the qualifiers of the national competitions of the Computer Science Olympiad and with the national winners of the “Logistics and Transport” section, from Brignoli of Gradisca d ‘Isonzo with the regional champion of the Chemistry Games, with the winners of the competition Plant tree species – Triveneto Agricultural Schools Network 2023.
It’s not just high school: the students of Battisti Elementary School opened the exhibition with three songs of social appeal: love, peace and the environment. The environment to which Mayor Cecent also made a strong appeal, in reminding him of “the terrible emergency that Emilia-Romagna is facing. For this I thank the Civil Protection that continues to protect and guard the area. We are close to the population affected by a disaster that has brought Italy to its knees.
