The letters “600” on the back and the shape of the car leave no room for doubt.

The similarity with rather obvious Fiat 500X, from which it takes some detail, but has been revised in a modern key, following the style of the new electric Fiat 500. According to some rumors, it should be slightly shorter than the 500X, with 500-style electric LED taillights and a large tailgate, which slopes towards the underbody. There is also space for a small black spoiler in the area at the end of the roof. The entire lower perimeter of the bodywork will be covered with black molding, which will make it a small crossover, while laterally you can appreciate the large wheels (maybe even 18 inches) and good ground clearance.

Gasoline will arrive, but electricity

It’s no secret that the new 600 will be developed from CMP platform, ex PSA, is now included in the Stellantis universe under the name STLA Small. It is a structure widely used by different models, light, contemporary and designed for electrical power supply. This is the same scheme also used in the Jeep Avenger and like it will be built at the Polish factory Tichy. The engines will not be different either: at launch it will almost certainly be a three-cylinder petrol with 100 or 110 hp, while the 100% electric version will be launched later.

It will use a front-wheel drive electric powertrain, with a total power of about 156 hp, supported by a 54 kWh lithium-ion battery, located in the lower part of the chassis, between the axles. The total maximum range should be around 390 km, but we are waiting for official confirmation from the manufacturer. Price-wise, comparing it to the Jeep Avenger, we can expect a list price starting at less than 24,000 euros for the endothermic petrol version and around 35,000 euros for the electric version.
