CD Projekt confirmed that the file patch 1.6 From Cyberpunk 2077 movie Unfortunately The new game will not include + Much needed by players. On the other hand, the development team does not exclude in advance that this functionality will not arrive in the future.
CD Projekt RED will reveal details of Cyberpunk 2077’s next free update this afternoon at 5:00 PM, which will also include a series of missions and content inspired by Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, among other things.
However, Senior Community Manager Amelia Coate confirmed that New Game+ is unfortunately not included in the upcoming news. Then, lead designer Miles Tost commented on the post explaining that it’s a feature Difficult to integrate in the game and it will take a huge amount of work to rebalance.
“It’s about rebalancing the whole game (enemies, equipment, items) and doing a lot of testing and tweaking,” Tost said. “A lot of controls are needed for gameplay and dialogue skills. How do we manage/balance traits and perks? Electronic software at the start of a new game might break something. Double jumpers can get into places they shouldn’t? What happens when You take the first fist from Vik, but you already have some mods on the arms? The part where you see the surgery on the hand will likely be reworked. Can the player keep all the vehicles in the new game? All these scenarios?
“Some of the answers may be simple, but for us that means tweaking the entire game to make sure the feature that affects every aspect is implemented correctly. Unfortunately, it’s not just about letting you start a new game with your /. Just V.”
Despite all the difficulties pointed out by Tost, the level designer states that CD Projekt RED has not flatly discarded the idea of implementing New Game+ in Cyberpunk 2077 and thus this functionality Could come in the future:
“None of the problems described above can be solved, but you will understand that there is a lot more work than it seems at first glance. We are listening and investigating. However, I am not making any promises.”
