About three hundred Mallorcans gathered in the early hours of the morning at Calo del Moro, in Santanyi (Migjorn). Summoned by Mallorca beach tourThey denounced the tourist saturation of the island. In the water, they raised a banner bearing the slogan:We occupy our shoresThey demanded their right to enjoy the natural spaces occupied by tourism.
They explained that if they did not go there at 8.00, they would not be able to find a place due to the influx of tourists. Calo del Moro is one of the places that residents find difficult to reach. That is why today they decided to go to the beach to denounce the unsustainable situation on the islands.

The Mallorca Platja Tour initiative was launched this year with the aim of recovering all these spaces and occupying the beaches that many years ago were acceptable, but since the strength of tourism in the islands has given its name to the Balearic phenomenon, the longer it lasts the more difficult it will be to find a corner to spread a towel.
