June 13 is European Skin Cancer Prevention Day. According to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), 3 million cases of non-melanoma skin cancer are diagnosed every year worldwide and in Spain alone, more than 78,000 cases, 95% of which are non-melanoma skin cancer.
On the occasion of this date, ICS is broadcast live on Instagram with expert dermatology professionals so that all users who have doubts about this topic can solve them directly in this space.

The conference will include Francisco Javier Fernandez Segura, a family doctor from Cap-la-Pau, and will be led by journalist Ana Marin.
This is one of the measures promoted by the Catalan Institute of Health to join this day with the aim of raising awareness among the population about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of skin cancer.
