Montes Puig Antic, journalist Jaume Panella, historian Josep Pimentel and lawyer Magda Oranić participated in the second chapter of the course, a tribute to the young anarchist who was murdered 50 years ago.
Following last week's screening of Salvador, Phenicium Hall hosted the second part of the Salvador Puig Antich cycle on Tuesday evening, with a roundtable to remember the character of Salvador Puig Antich.
The event, moderated by journalist Jordi Erols from TV3, was attended by Montse Puig Antic, Salvador's sister, who highlighted both sides of her brother, both personal and political.
On the other hand, Montse also had time to explain to us the connection of his surname with Villafranca del Penedes.
Another prominent participant in the evening was lawyer Magda Onarres, who at the time led the defense of Salvador Puig Antic, before Jarrot Vile sentenced him to death in 1974.
The roundtable was also attended by Jordi Panella, journalist and author of “Salvador Puig Antich, cas obert,” who took the opportunity to remind us that police repression in the state still exists.
In order to learn about the political movement of which Salvador Puig Antic was a part, specifically the Iberian Liberation Movement, the roundtable added the presence of a fifth participant, in this case the historian and expert on the liberation movement Josep Pimentel.
Overall, the Cicle Salvador Puig Antich, organized by Òmnium Culture and Institut d'Estudis Penedesences, concluded with excellent attendance figures, with the Vinseum hall packed to capacity for all the events organized
