Lamborghini attracts customers who are not satisfied with the banal lines. To develop the maximum aerodynamics for road racing cars, Emilian technicians have developed extreme cars like the Egoista. These are concepts that rarely leave the factory and end up on display in museums. Enthusiasts were left speechless by the car’s angular lines.
The Lamborghini DNA is evident from any angle you view the Egoista. The styling is extreme, almost like it’s from another planet. Low, wide and mid-weight, it features a pointed, split nose that allows for extra airflow. Improve aerodynamic efficiency and engine cooling.
Created to mark Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary, the Egoista’s design is based on military fighter jets and was created by Volkswagen Group design chief Walter de Silva. The car is equipped with the same 5.2-liter engine. With a V10 architecture derived from the Lamborghini Gallardo, but boosted to 600 hp for a blistering acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds. Top speed is 350 km/h.

Lamborghini Egusta Features
The cockpit is made entirely of carbon fiber and, as in a spaceship, to access it you have to press a button and wait for the canopy to open electronically, as there are no doors. It looks like it came from an expedition to the moon. It is decorated with LED xenon headlights and orange side indicators.
At the rear there are aerodynamic flaps, while at the bottom, to improve engine cooling, peculiar air intakes in a scale configuration were chosen. The cockpit is similar to that of an F1 car.Instead of a traditional Lamborghini.
In the middle is a synthetic sports seat with a four-point harness, a head-up display and a detachable steering wheel. “Looking to the future, the Egoista cabin can be detached from the plane and grafted onto the car to follow another path,” designer Da Silva announced during the presentation.Only one example was built, worth €107 million. Since May 16, 2014, the car has been on display at the Lamborghini Museum.
