The facade of Barcelona City Hall was vandalized on Thursday. On the side of Carrer de la Ciutat, someone had spray-painted graffiti with white paint. The events were reported to X by the spokesperson for the TriasxBCN municipal group, Jordi Martí i Galbis, whoHe posted a picture.
Galbis criticized that “the arrangement plan does not work even in the vicinity of the city council” and demanded “repair of the damage and identification and conviction of the author or authors.”
Council sources explained that The urban guard is investigating the vandalism.And the graffiti cleaning team will clean it up in the coming days.
It’s not the first time a heritage building in the city has been vandalized. Last year, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Pi was vandalized, and in September it was repainted. The basilica ended up hiring a specialized company to clean the facade.
