Treasuries are the focus of many Spaniards who have money to invest. The attractiveness of investing in it is increasing due to its high returns. There are many potential buyers who would like to know when they will be able to access this letter auction in the coming months.

How to enter treasury bill auctions?
The most economical way to participate in the auction is through the Treasury’s direct accounts. If you buy it on the exchange, you will be charged a commission.
With treasury accounts, you will pay only 0.15% of the amounts transferred to you. Follow these steps to participate in a Treasury bond auction.
- Open a direct account with the treasury. You can do this if you are resident in Spain, have a DNI or NIE and have a bank account
- You can do this in person at the offices of the Bank of Spain, by prior appointment or electronically with an electronic signature at www.tesoro.es
- A deposit is required before the auction. If we talk about treasury bills, they are 100% of the nominal value, i.e. 1,000 euros per bill. As for the deposit, it should take a few days before the auction takes place, depending on the payment method you choose
