The seventh edition of Dansometer begins

The seventh edition of the Dansometer Festival begins today in Villafranca, which will include a series of dance performances that will conclude on Monday, coinciding with World Dance Day.

There are three professional presentations in this edition.
The first, aimed at families, is run by the company Las Dueñas del Balón which will perform the show El meu monstre this Saturday, at 6pm at Cal Bullet.
And the following Sunday, at 7pm in the same venue, you can see the show Cita a cegues by dancer and choreographer Sol Pico and pianist Marco Mezquida.

Finally, on Monday 29 April, at 7pm at Plaça de la Vila for free, Esbart Rocasagna from Gelida will perform ERA by the guest choreographer of this edition: Quim Bigas.
Tomorrow, Friday, at the Cal Bullet Theater, Kim Bigas will hold the interactive conference L'Enviró d'ERA, followed by a workshop. To participate, prior registration is required. People who attend will be able to participate in the ERA exhibition, open to the public, on Monday the 29th.
On Sunday, at 11.30 am in the Plaça de la Sardana, there will be a sardana ball with the Cobla Contemporània, the group of sardanas Maragda (Association of Neighbors of Sant Julia), the group of sardanas for children les Bombaires de Santa Fe del Penedès, and the group of sardanas Visca del Casal – La Principal and the Sardinian gang La Lira Vendrellenca.

The programming of this seventh edition begins today with street performances by local dance schools, Assumpta Trens Dance School, Més Gimdans, Dance and Gymnastics School, CAS Dance School, Cascavells Vilafranca del Penedès Association, Montagut School and Golden Dance Lab.
In the end, two resident companies will be wrapped up in the dance space of the Jove La Nau space in Villafranca del Penedes: Cia. Always and the CIA. Andromena will be traveling shows ending at Plaça de la Vila.
