For decades, Barcelona has carried the idea of ​​being a city that has turned its back on rock and roll in favor of other, more modern (more modern, so to speak) musical genres. Like all common things, this is only half true. Cesar Torres (aka Turista Bang-Bang, which is his disc jockey name) has been fighting this cliche for more than 10 years at the helm of the A Wamba Buluba Rock'n'Roll Club, an initiative born on March 6, 2013 at Café Marula in Carrer d'Escudellers which in that time hosted more than 700 concerts and sessions, and perhaps most importantly, helped bring together the different families of Barcelona's vintage rock in one big gathering where the fun was far from over.
