New launch campaign Snapdragon X Elite The technology is becoming more aggressive, with Qualcomm poised to openly challenge its rivals. The American company has published new benchmarks on the pages of PC World that show the capabilities of its CPU, comparing them directly with modern Intel Core Ultra chips of the Meteor Lake series: the numbers highlight a performance that, if confirmed, could cause difficulties for the best processors on the market. Here are all the details of the tests.

Snapdragon X Elite is not afraid of competitors

The single-core performance comparison highlights the Snapdragon 54% faster than Intel Core Ultra 7 155H With the same power, 65% more efficient and with the same performance. However, in multi-core performance, the Qualcomm chip is 52% faster than the Intel chip with the same power and 60% more efficient with the same performance.

The challenge of Intel's fastest CPU is even more interesting: the single-core Snapdragon 51% faster than Intel Core Ultra 9 185H With the same power, 65% more efficient and with the same performance. In multi-core, the new Qualcomm processor is 41% faster than its competitor with the same power, with consumption reduced by 58%.

From a graphics performance standpoint, the tests were conducted on 3D Mark Wildlife Extreme from Windows 11. In this specific case, the graph shows 36% higher performance compared to the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, with the AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS shown in the format.
However, it should be noted that the results obtained from synthetic benchmarks do not always give a true picture and in-game performance is often conditional on the specific optimization performed on each chip.
