Jannik Sinner vs. Novak Djokovic: It is “only” the second match and for the loser there will still be the possibility of passing the round, but tension is what usually precedes the final match. Djokovic is the latest taboo to be dispelled for Sinner. After his freedom against Medvedev – who was defeated twice after six consecutive defeats – Jannik dreams of winning for the first time against the Serbian player, with a 3-0 lead in his previous matches, and the last two matches at Wimbledon. The whole audience will be on his side, which could also “complicate” things: what could be better, for a champion who feeds himself with new motivations like Djokovic, than to challenge “away” against a young player who aims, sooner or later. Sinner and Djokovic will be on court no later than 9pm, after the doubles match between Dodig/Krajicek and Granollers/Zeballos (starting at 6:30pm). While Tsitsipas-Rooney – with the Dane having won the previous two matches, last year at Roland Garros and in Stockholm – will face each other no later than 2.30pm, after the match between Gonzalez/Roger Vasselin and Gonzalez/Molteni. All matches will be broadcast on Sky Sports, with Sinner-Djokovic broadcast live on Rai 2 and Tsitsipas-Rune postponed on SuperTennis.
