Kyiv, fierce fighting continues in the east
Heavy fighting continues in eastern Ukraine between Kyiv and Russian forces, but there are no fundamental changes on the front line. This is what emerges from today’s bulletin issued by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, citing UNIAN. The clashes, which were accompanied by artillery and missile shelling, targeted the Donbass region in particular. And in the Kramatorsk region, the Russians also launched air strikes near the town of Sberny, and fighting is still going on in the Ivano-Daryevka region. In the Sloviansk region, Moscow forces unsuccessfully tried to break through the defense lines in the Dolina region. “The enemy – admits the Kyiv General Staff – is advancing in the Pavlevka region and hostilities are underway.” New explosions were reported along the line of contact in the Zaporizhzhya region. There were also reports of Russian artillery shelling and long-range missiles in northeastern Ukraine in the Kharkiv region. But it is alleged that Russian forces suffered losses in a confrontation near the settlement of Petumnik.
