(ANSA) – NEW YORK, July 19 – Police in San Bernardino, California killed a 23-year-old African-American man who was fleeing.
Shocking video clip shows a policeman shooting seconds after he got out of the car he was in. The American media reported this.
According to the police, the two officers were part of a specialized unit investigating an illegal gambling establishment.
The African American was talking to someone before heading to the unidentified police car when he saw the two officers get out of the car and run away. Short-lived escape: an agent shot and Robert Adams died soon after.
The family of the murdered boy admits that Adams was working at an illegal gambling place, but they accuse the officers of not revealing their identities. Instead, the police reported that the two policemen were in uniform and therefore easily identifiable and tried to give orders to the boy before he started running away. According to police, Adams was armed. The episode took place last Saturday. (Dealing).
