ICYMI: Suggested Basketball Reading From Across the Web

Happy New Year, everybody!

The 2013 calendar year came to a close last night, but the NBA is still going strong. Early in the afternoon we saw the Hawks eke out a win in Boston thanks to a monster game from Paul Millsap, and later in the evening the Trail Blazers and LaMarcus Aldridge knocked off the Westbrook-less Thunder. Closing out the 2013 NBA year, the Bucks picked up a surprising win in Los Angeles over the Lakers. Tonight we have five games on the docket to get 2014 started, including a Pelicans-Timberwolves match-up that should be an exciting one.
