At this point, it’s been well-documented – the Eastern Conference is bad. So bad, in fact, that there are just two teams above .500 out of the fifteen teams in all. As Howard Beck of Bleacher Report noted, the East has a chance to become the worst conference in NBA history.

The Western Conference, on the other hand has been dominant. Ten out of their fifteen teams are above .500. This includes the Portland Trail Blazers, the 15-3 squad that boast the West’s top record. The team is firing on all cylinders, from the play of reigning Rookie of the Year Damian Lillard to big man LaMarcus Aldridge, the Blazers look poised for a playoff run.

On Wednesday, the Blazers took to Twitter and decided to take a shot at the poor play of the East, longing to be in the struggling conference itself.
